Artwork Description:
This digital painting is based on a plein-air study of hills in the area of the city of Gurzuf, in Crimea. The plein air study was conceived in 2003 during travel to Crimea with the artist's co-students friends in the Academy of Arts. The dominant color here is red ocher, symbolic of the red warm sunset above the mountains. Accents of dark green stand for the trees and warm white areas stand for evening cloudy skies
