A nocturnal seaside café in Gurzuf, Crimea, painted in the languid summer of 2002 or 2003, recalls evenings spent with fellow artists Alexander Domanov and Alexey Naumenko. This canvas, among the first sold directly from plein air, captures the camaraderie and fleeting magic of youth at the edge of the Black Sea.
