This beautiful painting is a rendition of the artist's aunt in the autumnal garden inspired by his stays in a datcha house south of Minsk City. Datcha houses were the most successful achievement of the Soviet system providing people with a safe haven, friendly community, and retreat in the rural countryside after their hard work in the cities.
