Artwork Description:
Still life with anemones in a glass vase. These beautiful flowers were noticed by the artist in Odilon Redon's still lifes and Chiao also purchased the flowers in a Manhattan flower shop in order to produce a series of paintings with these flowers. This glass vase was brought to Brooklyn by the artist's family from Minsk, Belarus.
